x2. Of all the quick lube joints, EZ lube is by far the worst. i can't believe they haven't gone out of business yet. The "techs" are on commission for everything they sell, and they make up things that don't even exist. I'm willing to bet anything they didn't even look at your diff or the tranny. Also, the best part is, they wouldn't do they work even after you payed them. They are notorious for that, they've tried it on me, and there are numerous complaints about it online.

Even for a quick oil change, i can usually be in and out of my Toyota dealer in under 20 minutes. They use Mobile 1 oil and the notoriously good Toyota filters. If you go to the Toyota web site, you can print your own coupon for $28 for a V6 and $30 for a V8. Plus, they document a multipoint inspection and include it with your receipt.

yes, they are trying to get your money.

When using conventional fluids transmission should be flushed at least every 60k, same with diffs/tranfer case. Toyota uses the red long life coolant that lasts basically forever, so due to the fact that a timing beltand water pump is recommended every 90K, I would just do it then cause you're going to be draining it anyway, unless it takes you an absurd amount of time to reach 90k miles.

Obviously, you better take EZ Lube (and the other quick change oil places) very seriously...
