I was on the freeway yesterday when a F-150 passed.
I had to laugh, but felt sorry the poor guy at the same time, because on his rear window in big white letters read the following:

    66,000 miles
    third transmission,
    Thanks Ford
He should have bought a Toyota!

I can relate. Back in 07 I had a ford F250 diesal for work. It had the 6.1 engine that has horrible problems. The engine had to be replaced twice due to seizing up and I didnt even have 20,000 miles on the vehicle. My personal truck was a 1996 taco 4x2 regular cab with over 400,000 miles and all I have ever done is change tires and occasionally the oil. Now that I have a 09 DC 4x4 on order I shouldnt need another vehicle again.

Broken and scratched tailgate, cracked rear tail light lens, coffee stain in driver seat.
The 2007 Ford F-150 I drive for work had a tranny rebuilt at 31,000, the dealer said "well we didn't put good transmissions in them this time"

I had an 02 F350 for work that had 82,000 miles on it and no problems... guess it's luck of the draw w/Ford... :D
