    Like the setup. What are the tubes on the roof? Fishing rod holders?

    Yes. I carry my fly rods in them. I can reel my fly to the top guide, break the rod in half, secure the tip to the butt with a neoprene reel cover and then insert into the PVC tube and hang the reel end in a bungee set up that you can't see at the rear. I put my 8' or less rods in the long tubes and my 9 & 10' nymphing rods in the short tubes. That's probably not very clear - I can take a better pic if you'd like to duplicate it. I've wheeled all over the San Juans with rods in there and have had zero issues.

    Sounds good. A better picture would be great but no rush as it will be awhile before I would be able to do anything. I'm sure others will be interested too.

    I'll take some pics this eve. I have the reinforced roof and used U shaped pipe clamps with some short self tapping screws. I painted the PVC and hardware with rustoleum truck bed coating prior to install.

    Edit: I have the carpet liner in my shell and also ran some Velcro on top of the tubes.

    Here's some pics.IMG_3649.jpg IMG_3648.jpg IMG_3647.jpg IMG_3650.jpg I shimmed the back end of the tubes down with washers to compensate for the curvature of the roof. The reel end is two eye bolts with a small bungee cord crimped to one and ran through the eye of the other. I put the captive side around the back end of the reel and stretch the other end around the front and hook it such that the bungee goes completely around the foot of the reel.

    Not sure what you mean - the outside?

    Yes, with those things mounted to the roof. Does the outside have a bunch of bolts exposed?

    No. They are 1/4 or 3/8" screws that don't penetrate the exterior of the shell. I have the reinforced roof. I doubt you could do that otherwise.

    Not sure if I can post this here or not. I'm selling my bed platform off of my 17 DCLB, only used it a few weeks and went back to bedrug and toolbox in my cap. Took a lot of time to get this to fit just right and carpet is glued and stapled located in Princeton WV. I don't have 50 posts yet so couldn't post in classifieds. Apologize if this isn't allowed just thought someone may be interested. $100 obo

    Love the designs in the drawers. What did you use as slides?

    Thanks.
    No slides. The drawer bottom rest directly on the truck bed floor.
    If you've ever put anything in the bed without a bed mat you'll understand, it's pretty slick as is.

    I decided against slides due to cost and loss of space.

    @Phoosa
    My opening in my storage is 53" long, and 40" wide. I am leaving it open, but may later close it with a drawer. I do like the idea of letting it slide on the 'slippery' bed.
