    2nd gens had these stock. Pretty sure you can buy them and its a fairly easy install for a 3rd gen but I'm not positive.

    Nothing Fancy, Just some protection for the fridge from my dogs. The fridge now slides out on a home-made unit. I need a re-design.

    How do you have the plywood secured to the bed?

    It is cut fit pretty precisely, and 3/4 ply strips prevent it from sliding in any direction. With the tailgate closed it doesn't budge, and it's heavy enough alone to hold the weight of a packed fridge when fully extended on the slide. (That was just dumb luck, I didn't want to drill holes in the bed).

    Don’t think I’ve posted since the fridge mod. It’s on a slide that I mounted to a 2x4/plywood platform for easy removal and no drilling (and to clear the bed stiffeners). The unintended consequence is an auto-tilt feature that I really like.

    @PHTaco, very nice setup.

    I am currently building dual swingouts for my bumper, and will be similar to yours. Would you mind posting a close-up picture of one of the latches, where the swingout locks to the bumper. I have an idea as to what I am going to do, and yours looks very similar.

    Thank you.

    Here you go. If I was starting over, I would orient the latches vertically with the handle pointing up for clearance reasons. I scraped part of one of the handle covers off last time I was in Moab. A harder hit could have rendered my swingout un-latchable.

    Thanks for the pictures. Very similar to what I plan to do.

    Or, shall I say planned to do. I am going to rethink the latch orientation. Thank you.

    I go through various organizational methods from a shelf at bed rail height in the front to full platform above the wheel wells. The problem is that it seems like it all has to come out so often for firewood/mulch/stone/lumber hauling, etc. And skiing, hiking, biking setups all seem to be a little different. Great ideas on here, thanks everyone. It's great to see what folks have done. This is just simple bungees off my led mounts to keep delicate paddles out of sliding gear danger.IMG_0747.jpgIMG_0746.jpg

    I have the slide mounted to a piece of plywood that I cut to fit tightly between the bedside, wheel well, drawer and bed stiffener. It took some trial and error, but with the weight of the fridge it does not move. I wanted to avoid attaching the slide to the bed so that I could easily remove it when I need to haul something.
