Came up with another little addition for some extra storage in camp. I won't drive around with it hung up, but once parked it'll come.in handy20230902_102825.jpg 20230902_102647.jpg 20230902_102533.jpg 20230902_102415.jpg

    My latest revision.
Moved 35” spare from under the bed and placed behind the 200W suite case solar panel. Mounted boards on the inside roof.
Recovery gear is in the smaller Milwaukee pack out on top and my tools in the larger lower toolbox. This has been holding up surprisingly well for over a year. Air compressor is stashed in the front right corner near spare.
This is cleaned up and I usually have random stuff floating around back there. It’s always changing though.

Hard to tell from the angle, so it may not allow, but could you run your ratchet strap through the rails on the right side of the toolbox instead, so you could maintain ability to get into bottom drawer? I'm not familiar with the Milwaukee boxes; are those corner bars metal or plastic? Your setup may be preferred the more I think about it if those corners are plastic.

Either way, setup looks great man, super functional and lots of usable space left

You might be able to run it in the right side but not sure how stable it would hold. I keep the things I need the least in the bottom drawer and that bottom ratchet it pretty quick to loosen if I need to.
The silver bars are aluminum but everything else is plastic.
I have more pack-outs that I mount on the driver side as well but rarely use them.

My dog and homemade sleeping platform/storage system from a camping trip last fall. Really like it but thinking about selling it (the platform, not the dog).

    Bed, fridge, bike, heater, gear…
2nd pic was taken during a test fit. There’s now a full length slide-out 2x6 between the platform and the fridge with a fork mount to hold the bike. It ramps up at the back to raise the rear wheel so my chainstays and derailleur aren’t rubbing anything. Also, the rear section that ramps up is a snug fit between the fridge and platform so that keeps the whole board from tipping with the bike on it.
There’s also a paddle latch on the drawer now too. I went against the grain on fridge placement. I like it against the cab so I can climb in and out easier. I can access it from the windoor.

Here’s another couple pics that show the bike rack and the way it helps me clear the fridge with the bike.

Rarely have the drawers in nowadays but once those are removed the panels fold up easily out of the way in case I need to fit something in the back unexpectedly!

The stuff on top isn’t there all the time. This was just a camping trip. The drawer system and carpeted platform is always in.

Finally made “shades” best ones I’ve done so far out of three trucks. Used boat snaps. Drilled into the window frame. Next up I’m going to get a custom box built for the back. Here’s a couple weeks ago on a solo surf trip
Does anyone have a Thule rack on there cab with a midrise? Debating on what roof rack to get for my cab

Is the fan mounted on a bolt from the roof tracks?

No. I have a cargo net attached to all of the bolts on the roof tracks. The base of the fan is held by the steel braided cables I used to attach the net. Had I planned better I would have used longer bolts for the tracks so that I had some threads on the inside. Screenshot_20240622_085114_Gallery.jpg
