    I noticed the red purple wire deal too. I already had my switches all wired up from my small compressor. When I went to plug the new harness in, I thought they'd changed something at first....

    That is the basic idea. Have not worked out the details yet.

    @fatfurious2

    I don't remember which thread you tagged me in before about not running a leader hose.

    But, I just used my compressor for a prolonged period for the first time. That braided leader hose gets pretty hot. I wouldn't trust a plastic fitting there.

    Side note. I really like having OBA

    I am going to redo my leader hose. Right now, I have the braided 18" going to a Tee with the ARB quick connect. The problem is, that I ran it towards the middle of the engine bay on the firewall side. So its hard to reach it.

    I just bought a hybrid 3 foot leader hose, so I can run it under the airbox and washer fluid, and put the quick connect behind the passenger headlight. From there, I will run the 3/8" air line to the back of the truck, into a bed cubby like you have, and to another quick connect.

    When you disconnect the hose from the engine bay quick connect, is there a lot of air pressure? mine shoots out from the quick connect. More than a "normal" amount. Maybe I need to add some sort of safety valve?

    There's 150 PSI. That's the cut off for the compressor. So yes, it's normal. Mine does the same. I wouldn't screw with a relief valve.

    I plan on putting mine in a similar location. What size gauge wire did you use to extend the harness?
