I'd like to see what people have done to their Base model 4X4 like this one.

One downside to these black fender flares is that they scratch easy and discolor. Same goes for the bumper too.

My truck just spent some time in a body shop getting a bumper replaced. When I went in to visit the truck one of the techs told me to use a heat gun at about 12 inches away to get rid of the zebra stripes/fading. The heat brings out oils in the plastics to the surface essentially bringing back the original luster of the plastic. Gonna try it out on my next day off.

If ur worried about the flares, I had mine coated with full metal jacket brand Bedliner.

Now they scratch back and u can't hurt em.

^ Good tip, I've been thinking about bed-lining them in the future.

I know its not a TRD, but i really like the stickers on there the way they look, plus i also got a set of the 16 aluminum wheels at a pretty good price, so i figured that i would go ahead and put them on there. Hope you all like it!!!!

No it is a All-Pro stainless steel rack that has a platform attached to it. I use it for getting a better view when I paint and draw landscapes and shade for the dog in our hot Texas summers.

I had been monitoring a local Toyota dealership for some time and they almost never have base models, this one showed up one day and it was exactly what I wanted. That being said, had it been white I would have jumped on it too as I like the black/white contrast.

Thanks man! They should have been offered on the our tacos as they're a prefect fit. I still haven't sold my steelies... not sure how much to ask for them and the dunlops.
