Thanks for the link. I didn't realize the new Tacos are prewired for bed lights. I had to wire my bed lights up myself.

ARE CX HD with metal t-handle side doors and glass on the back. Went with the HD for the internal metal cage that the cross bars bolt directly on to since I have a huge, heavy RTT.

    Today must be install day!

Just got my Leer 100xr installed as well, only had to wait 6 weeks but maybe that's because I got sliders instead of windoors? I ain't complaining tho lol

Nice truck. Similar to mine. My topper is Leer 100 XQ.

    COLLAGE_20210806_193404.jpg

I am adding more stuff to it such as new tires, wheels, etc.

Thanks! I was bouncing between the XR & XQ but went with XR since my dog will be back there sometimes. Love the look of the XQ more though.

I understand that. I like my side windows because if I forget to close them due raining, inside doesn't get wet at all. But it will get wet if you forget to close before you go through the car wash. Not much though.

Leer will warranty a repaint for you. They did for me with the Leer 180 I received in March. The retailer submitted a claim and got approval from Leer. They pulled it off and removed all the windows including the rear glass hatch and had a local automotive shop repaint it after I left my tailgate with them to get a good match. No cost to me at all.

This is my first Tacoma...2021 SR5 4x4. It's the first vehicle I've purchased in 21 years, after driving a Ford F150. I put the LEER XQ camper shell on the back, and added the Yakima Reel Deal rod holders, and Riversmith fly rod holder.

My Leer came with this box that runs the center brake light and an LED dome light. I didn't know they were going to do this, but they ran a fused line to the battery for it.

I was planning on running a line and adding a 12-volt socket to the bed for a cooler but it looks this already has the capability of providing 10 amps. Is there a plug 'n' play outlet for this or will I need to get a generic socket and wire it in to the plug?

Picked this up used Ranch Sierra Xtra instead of plopping 3K for a new color-matched shell. Lacks high-end features but I think I can make it work more my intended purposed. Now to wire the 3rd brake light...

3B5E7481-3646-46D9-B41D-4297B54BFC3C.jpg ARE. I’m checking to see if I can have the sliding window replaced by the two handled lift. I have a shelf that runs about a quarter way from the back, and lift windows would make access easier

It's not in bad shape and is usable as-is but I plan to restore it. Ordered a seal for the lid along with stainless steel hinges.
