Good suggestion! HF is across town, and Ace is right down the road, so I forget about them for little things.

Almost done building my panel. Doing it "the right way" this time. 10 relay circuits, 8 extra fused circuits (5 switched with key on, 3 always on), and my dual battery solenoid and fuse. Plenty of room for growth. Just waiting on a few more parts so I can install it and run all my wires.

 

Is your ground buss cable the same gauge as your B+ cable? Looks like you have two positives and one is much bigger than the ground buss cable. If you’re planning on grounding to the chassis then you’ll need to upgrade the chassis to B- cable to handle all the current that you’re adding.

 

Yes, the positive and ground cable for the fuse panel are both the same size (4awg) the large red cable is for my second battery system. The ground cable for this system is not involved on the fuse panel.

Nope, I only have one relay which is on the harness for my light bar. The install was just connecting the battery to the breaker, putting the ground on the fender, and then moving my CB, bed lights, and light bar wiring to the fuse block.

 

Damn I should've seen this thread before buying my fusebox.

Blue Seas fuse box panel is in and the Negative is all wired up with about a 2 ft length of 1/0


Positive terminals and positive connections (for the relays) will go in once i get my circuit breakers. Still in the midsts of shipping for the last 3 weeks...

that is an incredibly good price... Especially knowing that the fuse block is around $60 and the switch (depending where you get it) at about the same price.

all the others i've seen start $4-500...
