Bump! Blank canvas for 2021 and my first 2 stroke! I will be splitting time between my 2019 KX450 build (78 amazing hours and she's getting freshened up!) and this 2018 TC250 2 Stroke I just picked up off the original owner with 11 extremely light hours on it! Beginning the build already! If anyone has any experience with Lectron Carbs please chime in! I am probably going to get one for the build!

Buy one! Buy it now! I put a Lectron on my DRZ, and it changed my life haha.

Honestly do not even think I want to play with the jetting on the Mikuni! It is a known weakness and temperamental from what I have read. The Lectron is supposed to really open the bike up and smooth it out too! I appreciate the feedback!!

Absolutely. My bike feels so much better all around, and I’ve taken it from sea level to almost 12,000’ with no issues. Have you bought one yet?

Not yet but I will be calling this morning. I think it will be awesome but only thing is elevation is not really a factor here I really only ride 600-800 ft above sea level. But they say on the 17+ KTMs it really adds to the top end power and overall smoothness. I just want safe consistent reliable and as little bog as possible.

Yeah even at consistent elevations it does feel better all around much much smoother almost like fuel injection, and less big. The only slight annoyance I have is at idle with the throttle closed it feels like it creates a slight vacuum that takes a little extra force to initially crack the throttle open. From talking to their support it can be adjusted out I just haven’t put the effort in yet. Plus it only took a couple minutes to get used to it in technical riding and stop and go traffic situations.

Thanks for the info. I plan on going with one for sure. I had read the domino throttle and motion pro cable do require a bit more effort than stock as well.

I’d heard that too, but with the bike off the throttle is butter no resistance at all. Once it’s running you can feel the slight suction on the slide.

I would like a 125 2 stroke for fun. Always wanted one. I’m a believer of being able to outride your bike and not the other way around. I probably still couldn’t outride a 125 though, getting old.

I was actually shopping for a KTM 150sx when this TC250 came up for a steal so we will see how it goes then the snow melts! I rode a YZ250 2T for the first time for a moto this year and actually was instantly comfortable coming from 7 years of 450s now. I was surprised how much I liked it and at speed it felt just like any other dirtbike (did not do anything weird). Hoping the husky on the track is similar!
