Ya man, they both look amazing. Your 125 is so decked out, I love it. Sounds like a great weekend. Have fun and be safe. I'm still recovering from wisdom teeth extraction (it's worse when you are older lol) so no riding for me this weekend. Going to try the JD jetting in my 125, so if I feel up to it, gonna throw that in real quick for next time I ride it.

How was your experience with race tech suspension? Was the setup pretty close the first time?

I just have the gold valves and the suspension is great. Got a ride link to that lowers the back a little

RT Gold-valve kits are really good. I haven't needed to do anything like that on my newer Yamahas but on my FC350, I really started to hate the fork and couldn't find a setting. Did the Gold Valve kit along with some other things and it was night/day better.

Hydrolocked the bike in july. Rebuilt, raced it, back to trail riding. Put a jd tuner on it. Swapped to throttle body injection now and removed the oil injection system. New at81ex rear tire and tubliss as well

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Been there! I got swept anyway in a River that I thought I could cross….or rather had done so many times before, it’s right down the street from my house.

Last hurricane changed up the River bed. I found a new 6’ hole!

Took a 16 year break from riding. Glad to be back at it this year. My kid and I put a few hours on last weekend. Don’t like riding desert but a couple buddies invited us out and it was fun and a great way so dust off the cobwebs.

Liking the DCLB. Even with two bikes the tailgate can go up enough to keep stuff from falling out the back.

I run those same Bridgestone's on my CR250. I've been really happy with them for their price point. Also, yes desert riding isn't as fun as dunes or tracks. :bikewhoops:

Just recently switched from a KTM 350 to a KTM 300 XC.

My 1994\2006 CR250r AF conversion. Engine is from my old 94, frame is an 06 CRF250f that I bought with a locked up engine for 500 bucks. Bought the CP500 conversion kit and did the whole thing myself except the welding and powder coating.

I don't ride that much any more because all of the friends that I rode with basically sold their stuff and PSC'd or got out of the military and moved away. So now I take it out occasionally and blast around at the local off road park that is not at all meant for riding a dirt bike at. Lol

So how are you liking the switch? I ride both of the KTMs you are talking about. The 2 stroke is a woods machine!

The 300 is definitely not as stable going fast, but by no means not good on faster trails. Probably due to me still getting it setup the way I like it and getting more comfortable with the powerband. In the tight stuff I forgot how easy a 2T is to ride. I love my 350 but it takes planning and thinking to clear really technical stuff. The 300 you can almost just crawl up/over whatever you want.

5B471061-ED5F-4AFE-82B7-88AE8CB147F4.jpg I do miss the interior room of my F150 but when it comes to loading up bikes or a quad, these DCLB’s have it beat really is the perfect sized rig for one or two riders. Tailgate is low for easy loading.

My 250F is a 2020. Hate the grey plastic but that’s what it had on it. Had a 2019 briefly a couple years ago but I got busted up pretty good and dumped it to heal last year and get pinned back together. Revalved the suspension this winter when I was bored so really anxious to hit a track soon and see if it starts to come back. Probably race a couple +40B races at the track by my house this summer. My boy won’t race. His bike had numbers when I bought it for him this winter. It’s a KX100 so I’m having to bring back 2-stroke memories from dark corners. I always preferred 4t. Actually I had the very first YZ250F in the area when they came out in 2001. Man was everybody pissed when I pulled every hole shot that summer. Too bad I so was slow every where else...like now again. However, now we have this magic thing called YouTube to teach even old folks!

I always liked the gray '20 YZFs. Looks cool. But you could swap some plastic for like $150 if you hate it that much. Mine is all black (a few posts above) and I have been debating at least changing the front fender and number plate to blue. I remember when the original YZ250F came out. All of my friends got them (and a lot of people that I raced against.) It took me a few years to finally switch over to 4strokes. Those old 250Fs were hard to start. I'd say in general, the new 250Fs have improved by quite a bit, both performance and reliability.

Current bike is the YZ250 which I love, previous bike was the RM250 and before that the SXF250. The KTM was a great bike but would overheat on the trails. It wanted to go wide open and fast.
