I tried to find some updated shots of the shop with it clean but realized it almost never is clean for too long before I already started on another project. This was the closest I could find.

And this is it's current state. The goddamn Bronco soft top I am trying to sell is def making life difficult.

A shed would be helpful too for the kids stuff and power washer.

I work in an old pole barn. Woodworking in the left bay, room for the mill in the room in the back, truck work in the middle. Then metalworking on the right.

When I bought this house in January there was only 2 circuits out to the barn. Now theres a 100a panel.

A few new tools required some rearranging. Current state. All machines are on wheels so my wife can still park her car inside.

Just moved in this weekend. Finally have a place that fits the GX. Have a ton of work to do to make it my own, but it's a good start for now.

Yep. Been waiting to install the brackets you made for me until we moved in. Everyone knows you need a lift in order to install lighting, haha!

Installed a roof rack today. The lift made it easier to do solo. Doggo had to check the work out to be sure everything was installed properly. Also had to get the rig in the air just to test things out. Definitely loving the new shop, the new lift and the new space.

i was wondering how that lift worked! the recess in the ceiling didn't make sense, nor did the low height of the upper crossmember!

    i'm definitely jealous!

Yeah, the fact that the upper cross member on the lift moves up and down with the feet was definitely lost on a lot of folks. It does work well though, and I'm happy to have an extra tool when it comes to lifting the roof top tent and other heavy objects. Allows me to do a lot more work solo vs having friends help.

Pretty humble for a 2 car, but we have what basically amounts to a just below professional grade rock/jewelry processing shop. Lapidary machines, rock saws, cab machines, silversmithing equipment, etc.

Got my new cabinets in, and I was finally able to clear out all the stuff that was taking up room in the other bay. Just need to finish painting the ceiling, making shelving for wood, and installing the omniwall I ordered.
