Yes, the Crank arm feel off while riding. A few of the spindles appear to be stripped and the end of the bolt looks broken.

I think you are right, the end of the bolt is sheared off.

I'm going to clean it all off tonight and will up load some pictures.

If I am correct I need a new crank arm and the connector that goes through the bottom bracket(sorry, I don't know the technical name). Is it possible to buy the connector separately?

Thanks for all the help and insight already guys, I will definitely be asking for more help as I repair this :D

Do you have any suggestions for parts I use to replace it?

Idk if you would be able to drill the old bolt out or not and just buy a new bolt. Otherwise it would probably just be easier to get a new crank set especially if you keep having problems with it

I've done two x type BBs, one Truvative Stylo and one FSA 386 K force light and they've both done great and were easy to mount.

Typically, you buy the bottom bracket as a complete assembly.

I replaced my cranks with a set of Race Face.

Honestly I shop at my local bike shops, way better service than any website, and a great way to learn about local rides, groups, and events.

i feel the best is used bikes through pinkbike, best way to get super nice builds for a low price, but normally you should expect to put another 100 or 2 just to get it in perfect shape and have everything checked over

a cool thread would be a mountain bike trip pic thread so everyone could see new places to ride. one of my favorite threads is the truck camping thread a thread with truck camping mixed and mountain biking mixed would be the best thread ever. nothing like taking your truck to a biking spot camping out and waking up making some eggs and bacon and a full day of riding. yall think its a thread worth creating ive never created one not sure if id know how haha.

    Yeah.
Hey, I know where Warda is . . . thought that looked like Texas.

Anyway, seems like you can post that kind of stuff here or the camping thread or in the mountains thread.

Supposed to be nice this weekend, may head down to central MO for a camp and ride around Council Bluff Lake.
