When I did this on my Smittybilt the F1 and F2 wires coming off the motor were the in and out controls. Based on the diagram here that equates to yellow and green. So in order to figure it out to make sure I was not reversed I just "temped" the wires in and tested it. I got the direction wrong at first so I switched, it worked and I soldered. :)

Again this was a Smittybilt not a Warn but the controller boxes are similar.

Oh that's nice Adam! So is the Cruiser. I like the carbon fiber wrap on the ARB. Nice touch. Did you get a wireless remote? I did due to my control box location. It works awesome.
Aluminum and plastic but nicely sealed. Great mounting options too. Everything about Come Up seems to be well engineered.

I rebuild Warn 8274s as a hobby, but unfortunately they don't fit many bumpers, so I'm running a M8000 with synthetic line.

That 40 has been a really fun truck, and I've had it for a long time.
Kinda sucks as a street ride; but it's a great trail machine.
Rebuilt 2F, SM420/Orion t-case. Rebuilt axles with ARB front and lockrite rear, 4 wheel discs; BDS 4" lift...and dented sheet metal just gets cut off.
I don't really do anything too hard anymore, so I've been thinking about going back to the non-usa )lower first gear; 5 to 1 vs 3.5 to 1) and the Orion, and putting an ARB in the rear, and new bushings and OME shackles versus the slightly longer than stock ones; in an effort to make it more street friendly.
It would still have ~80+ to 1 crawl, which should be plenty for most reasonably not stupid off roading.

Thanks Eric. I did not get the wireless remote.

The other question has been answered about the control box materials. I couldn't agree more, I've been very impressed with what I've seen so far from COMEUP.
