    What price shenanigans is your dealer up to? Who's adding $ worth of "upgrades" and charging $$$?

    Not sure if there's a thread on this already. I'm in for service and my local dealer has this "really nice" looking TRDOR for....$50K. The Upgrade charges are $10K! The lift is a ReadyLift, I asked.​

    The truck does "look good" but not $10K extra good. LOL

    That truck is now useless off-road because of the 20" wheels and minimal sidewall mall-terrains.

    I agree. I don't care for the tires and wheels but if you are a mall crawler they look good. My beef is not with the looks. Its with the extravagant price. I feel for anyone who buys it and them realizes they got taken. It shouldn't happen in this day and age but it still does.

    Most people who buy dealer added mods aren't enthusiasts. and even if they were, they either don't have the time and space to do it on their own or enjoys whatever dealers put on. So that in itself is "worth" the premium they charge. It's a turn-key modded truck. That's the whole point.
