Didn't get a pic of the actual window sticker but it was 52k total before tax and title on an SR5 T4R with a $8,995 "wheel and tire package" that included a spacer lift.

Same here! When I visited most of the dealers, here looking for a TRD OR DCSB, they only have those +10K to +15K plus MSRP for sell. No way. I ordered mine.

There's no way that's not a joke. Toyota of Alvin would charge $395 for a tube of KY.

Got Tboned in m x-runner and I've been test driving a few new tacos while I wait on insurance and a local Hendrick dealer is charging $50 bucks for a Nitrogen fill on the tires and another $200 for a "Custom Hand Painted Pinstripe" that runs down the side....

They should change their slogan from "Home of The 100,000 Mile Warranty" to "Home of The $100,000 Tundra".

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
My dealer has a "blinged" up "overpriced" and over-modified one they have had on their lot (and in the showroom) since before I ordered my SR5 -that was in Dec of 2016. It is the "orange" or "infernal" color. I cant believe it has sat there for so long!

When I was looking for a new truck, my "local*" dealer had a perfect ACLB TRDOR on their website. I called up my salesman and said I want to come pick it up. OK no problem. He calls back a little while later - fortunately before I made travel plans - to inform me that it had been modified by adding about $10k in "upgrades" that weren't reflected on the website. I asked them to return the truck to stock condition and I'd buy it, as it's exactly what I want. They said no can, but offered to get me a slammin deal on any other truck on the lot.

And that's the story of why I have a DCSB TRDSport.

*about 220 miles, and yes, it's the nearest

No window sticker photo but this had Icon suspension and procomp tires/wheels. Yours for a cool $10k extra!

Those pics are from the only DCSB Tacomas that my dealer has "in inventory" (there are 2016 prices-with 5K discount!-). I took those pictures when I got my Truck in July 16)

You guys have seen OC Choppers... that show on whatever channel? I guess dealerships are trying to pull off the same thing.

Same engine, same frame, same transmission, but with different crap on them. They will be building theme trucks before you know it... Statue of Liberty, Black Hawk Helicopter, Syphilis awareness and whatever else these people can dream up.

Dealers have been doing this since the 1950's. It's not new. As a matter of fact I bought a 1984 Toyota 4Runner brand new off the showroom floor. The dealer had upgraded wheels and tires. They wanted $1500 adder for that, which at that time was about $300 too much. I got my best deal and then had them knock $300 off. They did and I was the proud owner of a new 1984 4Runner. 33 years ago. I doubt Orange County Choppers were doing a TV show then.

I don't have a pic but when I bought my Tundra they pulled one up that I liked except it had about $750 in dealer adds. Pinstriping, Nitrogen - $149, tint - $295, and something else. The price of the tint is what floored me. For that price I hope they did the whole truck. If they did then they would have done the rear window and I have never seen tint hold up with defroster wires. The sales lady tried to tell me that with nitrogen if I get a hole in the tire the tire will not deflate. All I said was who fed you that line of crap and she said "no really". They offered to take the pinstriping off. I said take it all off or find me another truck.

I don't have any pics, but the dealer in Anchorage had a basic Tacoma SR5 in the show room with a Tepui roof top tent and some sort of aftermarket rack over the cab. They wanted a measly $5000 for it. (The tent add on, not the truck)
