I've discovered that, in fact, mine does NOT do it when the A/C is off. I put the A/C on today for a bit (it was 73) and it did it at the first stop.

Does anyone know if putting a lift kit on their truck has eliminated the problem??

i have the same issue as Deer Pop. It only does it after the truck has been running for 10 minutes or so. it doesn't do it when there are more than two passengers in the truck. it also doesn't do it when i decelerate the truck in neutral, or when the truck is in 4x4. btw, I own a 07 DC, 4x4, auto

Not the same thing... That's the ABS system self check and perfectly normal.

The shudder that I get doesn't make any noise. It happens without A/C. You'll be stopped for a couple seconds and then it'll feel like a *bump* (like someone bumped you in the rear-end). I'm gonna say it's transmission related - some sort of late downshift that cause the rpm's to increase briefly. Our previous Grand Cherokee did the same thing.

Mine is the same as I begin to slow down (below 30mph)

I've been to the dealership. They said its normal for a leveled Tacoma. I have Toytec springs up front and 265/70R17. Never thought a 1.25" front lift with tires an inch bigger would be such a nightmare.

my truck shakes about 5 seconds after I stop. It only happens when I am idling. If I am stopped and turn my wheel it goes away (idle goes up) and then starts doing it about 5 seconds later (idle came back down). *Sometimes* the fan speed on my AC will effect how much its shaking...other times it does nothing. It's very strange

My toytec leveling springs didn't help. I never had this vibe until the dealer did the rear leaf TSB and replaced my front differential.

Just a heads up, I went to a different dealership and they said the TSB leafs and the lift they added to the rear are causing the vibe/shudder due to the new drive shaft angle. I think they're full of it but they recommend the carrier bearing drop. I don't think it's gonna work but I ordered one anyways. Kinda sucks that I have to pay for a part that is "supposed" to fix a problem caused by Toyota's TSB springs.

I just came back from Advanced auto parts and I bought the leaf spring helper kit, I read up on it on a thread here and I am going to try it out. I too am having the rear-end bump when I come to a stop. I took it to the dealership and of course, it didnt do it when the mechanic drove it. I am going to try this easy fix first and see if it does the trick. I am getting tired of looking in the rear-view mirror to see if someone bumped me.
