Went to a dyno day today with a buddy to run his 2nd gen Talon. in the back of the shop is this Subaru. Ive seen this thing briefly at a car show and thought for sure it was a wrap. but today i find out it is painted! door jams and all. They wouldn't say but i heard rumors that you too can have this slick paint job for a measly $40k! Its not really my thing but you've got to appreciate the time it took to do.

I don't like paint jobs like that, but that definitely took a lot of talent and a lot of time.

I can definitely appreciate the work put into that, but yea money well spent there. The person that owns this must be loaded up nice to blow it off on something like that. I wonder if they're insured...with the irony on the front bumper.

I can appreciate the time and effort(and $) into that paint job but I could never justify spending that much on something that's just cosmetic. I'd rather put all that money and have a Cosworth-built EJ25 in that and still have a lot of money left over to still get a nice paintjob.
