had a little incident and my mirror came off my assembly. the black plastic part is all there...can I just buy the mirror part and attach to the black assembly? Or, is there a piece I am missing? Does this even make sense?

Tinted windows, Rear locker anytime, Secondary filter delete, Parking light activated Fog lights, USA▪Spec Ipod adapter, Map light mod, Relocated 7-Blade, Warn Trans4mer Brushguard & winch, Tire chains, Homelink© installed in headliner, LED lighted 4x4 Switch, Defrost w/o A/C, Heated mirrors, Bilstein 5100's (1.75") & Rear TSB, 50w Reverse lights, Pratt & Whitney PT6A-68, Will this list ever end???
The mirror itself comes glued/mastic to a plastic frame that is attached to the tilt/angle servo. That is a separate item than the mirror assay which is attached to the door itself (~$40+tax).
The mirror assay (~125+tax) has no serviceable parts so you will get the door mounting bracket, the swing-away assay and the servo with wires (no mirror).
Hopefully you only need the mirror itself. Otherwise if the mirror itself is broken and the folding mechanism is broken, you need to order two parts.
Best bet if you need both is to find a fellow TW'er who replaced their black mirror assay with color matched ones and can sell you their black ones cheap. Then you only need to get the mirror itself.

Edit: I see you have the Sport, so you have color matched. may be harder to find a used in your specific color. Their like $210.
