    Too few to list.
    I've been eyeing a P229 for a hammer fire.
I carry either a shield or G19 depending on what I'm wearing and where I'm going (8+1 vs 15+1). I've been using CYA holsters AIWB.

    yep..
I carry a P229 AIWB all year, no problems. Similar size. I won't carry a semi or full size in the summer anywhere but appendix though.

I love my P229 but the polymers seem to be more reliable when it comes to dirt, sand, etc obstructions? The full rails of the P229 can slow things down when they get dirty.

Havent had time to get to a shop and check one out. I'm going out of town this weekend and wish I had the time because I'm not thrilled about being stuck with only my XDS.

Not on purpose but it's something to be aware of. I like to know how my carry gun will perform under possible circumstances. I do a lot of hiking and a drop in the mud for example seems to affect the classic Sigs more than you'd think. Here's a vid of the 226 showing how it doesn't like dirt.

I guess there can be a first that I drop my gun. Either way, I just use my Sig mainly for the range and as a night stand gun. EDC's are between a Shield 9 and Glock 19.

In my opinion if the fbi , navy seals, secret service and the list goes on trusts a sig p series , I don’t see why anyone else wouldn’t

So, I'm in Illinois right now. Buddy wants me to check out this gun store MegaSports. I figure cool, I can check out that Sig and see if its gonna be good. Yeah, so they have one. Cool. Wouldnt even let me touch it because I dont have an Illinois FOID what ever the heck that is. I say, but I have a concealed carry permit, nope. Could not touch it. Weird state. Pistol looked cool though.

Crazy... I have been to many gun shops in Oklahoma and Texas and never had to show any form of ID to look at and handle a gun. Only when I decide to purchase and start the background check.

Me too. In Michigan you can easily do this. I was blown away when the guy said that. I guess they make it as difficult as possible to have one here.

10 round mag limit there? Or wait my favorite is that is can't fire if it doesn't have a magazine, I know Cali does that crap. But yeah, that sucks.

I'm mean, wait, you aren't living in a gated community surrounded by body guards, private security, have a special concealed weapon permit, and 90% of the cities police at your disposable?

Yup 10rd limit unless you can get a pre ban mag. But they have a list of pistols that are "compliant" and this one isn't on it yet. Total nonsense.
