Silver hood scoop

I have a 2011 TRD sport in silver. The sun glare off the top of the scoop is sometimes unbearable. Anyone painted the top of theirs or have any good ideas to help? Pic would be great.

 

Plastidip.
Then if you like it paint it with automotive paint.

 

Vinyl wrap the scoop matte black?

 

Could even use plastidip aluminum color.
Matches 1e7 paint code real close but more of a matte finish for less glare.

 

I was thinking about plasti dip or the vinyl wrap. Was hoping someone on here might have a pic that has done one or the other before. Tried searching for pics but didnt have much luck.
