Awesome, you're the best--this is going to be an immensely satisfying $3 purchase.

Hey @scofflaw, Nice job! I took mine off and repainted them a few years ago. I slightly bent a side getting one out and I broke a clip. They kind of look like shit again now, so I'd like try repainting them again. Any chance you still got your old ones laying around? Yours being all silver would make a much better canvas for my project. If not, I could use those clips. I'd be happy to pay for shipping.

Hey there, regrettably I did not keep the trim pieces although I think I bent them getting them off anyway. But I have the clips in storage, let me dig them up and I can send—just PM your address and I can get them in the mail (will be a while as the clips are in storage that I don’t have immediate access to).

Just came here to say "thank you" for this write-up. Just replaced my door window trim and it is so much better.

Of all the major issues with my truck, this was the most satisfying repair I’ve done so far!

Anyone able to point me in the right direction for the part number for the weather stripping that continues up and around the window? Mine is starting to peel. I plan to replace the lower piece that's discussed on this thread but can't track down the right parts for the remaining upper/surrounding piece. Thanks in advance
