Good job! This may be the first thing I have ever seen where plasti-dip is actually useful.

How was the actual weatherstrip part against the glass, though? Mine was all bent out and brittle, which is why I went for new ones.

Thanks for the write up! I bought my Taco 2 weeks ago, and when I was looking it over before I bought it, the door trim is the first thing that stood out to me as unappealing. I have lots of other things to do to this truck first, but replacing these trim pieces is on the list now!

You're welcome. Yeah, it is amazing how this can make such a difference to the age of the truck.

I plasti-dipped mine. Over 2 years ago and holding up strong.
But, for $30, I would have gone OEM (if $30 is for the pair)

Replaced mine yesterday, posted up some before and after pics here.

Purchased from my local Toyota dealer for $24 each.

Like scocar mentioned, it makes a huge difference in the looks of the truck. The old peeling ones were such an eye sore.

Especially because you are forced to look at them every damn time you use the truck. Glad you guys find this useful. It is so typical for buying a used truck of this age.

Great right up, I have been searching for those part numbers for a while. They are $20 at toyotapartsbarn.com so if one is purchasing other things to negate the $12 shipping.
