5100s all around -- 1.75 fronts, 1.5 aal, spidertraxs, grillcraft mx, derped scoop & badges, AVID step bars....need.more.money.
That's a good starting point. Rather not pay dealership prices....though some things are just unavoidable.

Bumping this old thread. I decided it was finally time to figure out how to do these. Went to the dealer and they are the normal $30 a piece. But, I am doing the inner AND outer strips. So I'm looking at about $118!! There has GOT to be a cheaper aftermarket OE replacement for these eh?? I mean if not I'll break down and do this. He did say he'd give me 10% off. But still... Was not thinking I would have to fork out a Benjamin!

Mine is really bad on my driver's door. Started to peel it off to just have the "chrome" showing. Have noticed the seal is going bad too. Looks like I'm going to have to replace it

Thank you for the part numbers and instructions! Thanks to your post I was able to replace all the blistered trim on all 4 doors of my double cab! However, as someone above on this thread pointed out ... no need to go through the trouble of taking the mirrors off! The front door trim pops right off with some pliers, and the new trim can pop right on with the mirrors in place.
I had to slide around the white clips on the new OEM trim parts to match the clip slots on my truck, But that was pretty easy and snappy.

Ugh I really need to replace my felt strips. But $100 for the set is ridiculous. I can't bring myself to spend that much. But I'm gonna have to eventually. My window tint is peeling on the driver side due to the crappy strips. But at least that gives me an excuse to change from 35% to 5%:D

Cool, glad I could help. Yeah, I had no idea how it came apart when I did it, so I just took off everything I could in the way before trying to pop them off.

It makes such a huge difference when you walk up to your truck every day and stare at that before getting in. Makes it worthy for the next 100,000 miles :)

Thanks for the part numbers and pictures. Using your post, I was able to swap in replacements very quickly, leaving the side mirrors untouched. Ran me about $45 on Toyotapartsbarn.com. Easy fix that makes a nice visual impact.

I hate to bump an old thread but I feel this is pretty useful one...

I am in the process of doing this and the clips don't seem to be "clipping". I can slide the piece in and slide it right back out. Worried I'm going to be rolling up my windows one day and have the piece come out on me. Anyone run into a similar problem?

Just replaced these today. Very easy as others have said, no need to take stuff off just popped old off with a putty knife and slid new ones in place. Ordered from camelback Toyota . Thanks for a great easy write-up! :thumbsup:Truck 006.jpg Truck 009.jpg Truck 008.jpg

    Argh. I STILL haven't got mine:/
Just need to bite the bullet and get em. Need outer AND the inner too so over $100 has held me back.

Has anyone done the inner trim of these?

Thanks for bumping this. Was searching the forum for it because in the last month my trim has gone from "eh that's not that bad" to "wtf?"
