    How is this work for you. I'm currently considering mounting locations. I really would like to mount in the cubby but I'm wondering the best way to wire it now.

    It’s been working just fine for me. Open the door when I’m using it so it doesn’t heat up too much and it works flawlessly. As far as wiring, i ran some 4 gauge power and ground wire from the engine bay back to the compartment and one trigger wire from the switch in my center console. The bulk of the wire mess stays just outside of the cubby. I’d recommend it
