    Welcome to TW!

A prerunner is a 2wd Tacoma with a 4x4 suspension. I don't remember if you can get a first gen pre in TRD OR, but here is all the specs, features and options. Also, 4x4 is not on all the time. it is selectable.

    What he said ^^^^^

And to add, a first gen Prerunner can be had in the TRD Off Raod package.

The TRD version of the prerunner has a locking rear diff. The non TRD prerunners does not have a locking rear diff.

Get the TRD, rear locker, with progresive rate springs and Bilstiens or Tokiko shocks and a sweet sticker to boot!

Only if it's a V6. The e-locker was not offered / included on 4-cylinder automatics.
