MESO stage 1 lights, LED's in cab, Sony stereo and Rockford Fosgate speakers in the doors and Kicker subwoofer so far....
Would definitely recommend unless you want to do rust repair later.

I would def seal that with some silicone, Did you even need to run it outside though? I thought it would be fine just ran to the back inner roof-liner

I didn’t honestly think of that, I could give that a whirl, I’d assume the signal would be just as strong.

I put the antenna behind the third brake light on the underside of the roof and drove to work this morning, its a fairly open drive with a few tall trees and overpasses. The signal for Sirius cut in and out quite a few times, more than it ever has, so I ordered a new light / gasket and will install that and use some DAP auto marine sealant and keep the antenna on the roof, it was worth a shot but had better signal with it on the exterior.

I know im a couple weeks late on this, but i ran mine through a hole in the firewall that was already there and added a rubber grommet. Ran the wire out under a piece of trim and then up the windshield line with a small amount of silicone and its on the front area of the roofline on the passenger side... Worth a shot if you havent already sealed yours up

I ended up running it out the third brake light above the bed and using a marine grade clear silicone, once it cured that silicon is rock hard and its been through a few storms already and no leaks
