Okay so I'm installing 4 rci skids.

The ifs is where I'm at.

Do I use the bolts removed in the crossmember back in the crossmember.

I couldn't get the bolts to align with skid so I removed them and still struggling to get bolt to go back in.

I can't speak for Gen 3 products, but I just installed full RCI skids back to the Transfer Case and the IFS skid came with two replacement bolts for the front crossmember. I didn't have to use any stock hardware. Weird they came without instructions. FYI, if you're installing all the way to the T-case, don't crank down on anything until all the plates are installed and aligned, then tighten. Good luck brother.

Can someone give me pics of the instructions with the skid plates?

    Thanks

That's a great deal, nice work. I just looked at the pic on RCI's site, it looks like the OEM bolts were reused on the front crossmember. So if you didn't get bolts that would fit, you should have no issues using the OEM ones. If you have a diff drop, you may need to space down slightly on the aft two bolts that secure the rear end of the IFS skid and front of the transmission skid. But again, I'm not familiar with the Gen 3 particulars. Unfortunately, I'm out of town this weekend or I'd happily send pics of the instructions.

Just hold it up and keep hitting it with a hammer until it stays on. Or use some duct tape, either option is solid

I've been a professional mechanic for 25 years and hot glue seems overkill. The closest thing I've used was a piece of chewing gum for a client who was going desert racing

That shit expands in a really weird way and makes a huge mess. Plus it holds too good. Stick with Elmer's.

Why would he use that when he could take the sticky part off an envelope and fold it in half and lick it to hold it on

    Yep…
    Vehicle:

I installed the RCI engine/tranz/transfer skids and like the product. However, I did receive the incorrect install instructions with the transfer skid. I kinda had to figure things out for myself. The hardware kit provided left something to be desired...
