Does the Sport have the same Skid Plates as the Off-Road?

I'm getting my 7559 (AC/Sport) on Thursday and I asked the dealer - (He did not know the answer) Does the Sport come with skid plates to protect the underside vitals just like installed on the Off Road? If it does not
    - Where is the best place to purchase them? I assume there are after market products that are tougher than those supplied with the stock Off Road model?

    Thanks -

    Clay/Auburn, Wa.

I was wondering the same thing. Thanks for putting the question out there. Let's hope someone more knowledgeable has an answer!

I have a 2016 TRD Sport 4x4 Long bed. I just changed the oil today for the first time (1972) miles and I had to remove a skid plate to access the oil filter. Not much of a skid plate but there was one there. Not sure if this is the same as an off road.

The OR has a plastic skid on the gas tank. Wouldn't really put much faith in it. I'll be putting Pelfrey stuff under mine soon

That's good. At least you'll have the brackets and stuff in place for a replacement.
