The one and only time I let a shop work on my truck (alignment) and they don't put the skid plate back on right. I'm pretty darn sure it was there when I picked up the truck, but it's not now. While I'm waiting for Firestone to get back to me, I'm in need of suggestions for a cost-effective skid plate that won't interfere with the Brute Force Hybrid Bumper on my 2005 Tacoma. Any suggestions?

If I can't get Firestone to reimburse me, then cost will be a major consideration. I'm supposed to go on a road trip in a week. Last week I saw that my upper control arm snapped. When I went to install a replacement today I saw that my skid plate was missing. Oy.

Was it the stock skid? If so I have one in perfect shape that I'll send to you for 20 bucks + shipping.

Yep, it was the stock 4x4 TRD Offroad skid plate. PM sent. Unless shipping is outrageous or it won't fit I'll probably be buying your skid Cade. Thanks!

Man I'd call that shop first to see if they forgot to put it on.
