Sleipnir's FURD BURD Bigfoot thread: Oh chit we have proof of life!

Since selling the Tacoma I am starting a new build thread for the Furd. It's a 2012 Furd F150 3.5L Ecoboost. I bought it with about 94,000 miles on it and it had a leveling kit and 305/55/20 K02's.

It originally went up to Tifosi Performance around October to get GT turbos, CRP ported manifolds, CPE Intercooler, Tubrosmart BOV, Full Race Catted DPs and an Intake. I added all this stuff because it was either needing replacement or going out and needed to be replaced soon anyway. Truck was running amazing until the rings let go around 120k miles in February because of carbon build up. Thanks GDI....

So now it's in the process of having a brand new built block with ported heads and EFR Turbos put on from RMB Motorworks.

Gonna be doing the brakes next weekend I think.

I have Stop Tech pads and Power Stop rotors from Rock Auto. Only doing the fronts for now but will move to the back eventually.

FYI keep watch over that 1st gen ecoboost, hearing many horror stories.
Money wise I know you may have not been able to get a 2nd ecoboost, but ya should have, much more reliable.

Haven't had any of the issues with 1 gen some people get. Timing chain is not making noises, brakes are good and turbos doing just fine

I've had all kinds in the shop, I've had vehicles towed to the shop, but I think yours will be the first to be towed out of the shop.
