BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I did something similar on my last truck and been thinking a lot about them for this truck. It keeps you a lot more comfortable out of the sun. Loved it. Let us know how you like them. Edit: Probably the best single thing I did to that truck. Edit.. ordering them tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up.

Which ones did you order and what was the last brand you had? Did you do it for all 4 windows or just 2? Any cons?

I made drapes myself. I used a gray plastic c-channel track (available at an RV store if I recall) that slipped under the trim around the windows and the curtain ran in the track (quite brilliant of me in 1984, if I do say so myself) If the sun was killing me I'd pull it forward enough to just block the sun. Honestly, at the end of the day probably the best mod to the truck. I'll try these ones. Wife is adding this to her Amazon order tomorrow.

Ok. They arrived. All and I mean ALL writing is in Chinese and I don't understand any of it. When I saw 3M molding tape applied to the channels I got some hope and with my cunning intellect I think they will work. 1/4 inch wide plastic c channel and plastic ball shaped hooks to run along. I'll run it along the bottom of the top inside rubber window molding ON the door (these things will be attached to the door not the cab) I'll try to install and take pics, soon.

Yes, I'm sorry for the delay I can't seem to get a decent pic. OK, what a life saver even without the foil windshield thingy to reflect heat when it's parked I like it.... a lot.

    So ya, thumbs up
