Nice man I got the same sliders on mine. I personally like the square design and its a clean package when done. These sliders were on the cheaper end for me compared to some of the others. I would expect a 3 month wait for them though.

    Too few to list.
First, I used Rustoleum self etching primer on the bare metal then I used Rustoleum Matte Finish black. I was thinking of either powder coat or lineX but since it gets scrapes, I just decided to spray paint for easy touch ups.

I would recommend before throwing down primer to do some light sanding and then clean the surface before. I ended up using por15 on my skids as that stuff has a nice finish, doesn't need primer to spray and has a good amount in the can. Its a little bit more than rustoleum, but if you get any dings through the primer you can just rattle can it back in minutes.

That is absolutely terrifying. I would NEVER get under a vehicle held up with a farm jack.

That right there is how people win Darwin awards.

Considering I think he blew up his diff and had to get home they had to do something. I believe he was able to even drive home after the event.

Yeah, while I agree its not preferred, or even ideal, we had to to what we had to do out from the middle of nowhere. had 2 jacks, and a truck in the back kissing my bumper, with winch line tight on the frame, and truck in the front with strap to my front bumper. also had the tires under the truck. Ill admit I was not liking having to be under there, but we got it done, and got her home

I understand drastic measures - I didn't really look at the photo that closely. Good on ya for getting it done - and mostly safely.

I just put 'em on so I've not been able to try them yet, but I really like my Mobtown sliders.

Looking at other designs they're almost OVER-engineered, but I'm quite confident they'll keep me out of too much trouble. Third-gens are wide so I feel I need some really good armor there.

I think there's a GB going on now on those here somewhere; shipping's a bitch (as it will be on all shipped sliders) but saving a couple hundred on the good stuff takes a bit of the sting out!
