Hi there need some advice on my slider installation. On my daily search of Kijiji I stumbled across a pair of All-Pro sliders off a 2nd gen DCSB that were to good of a deal to pass on.
The cab length looks pretty good, just not sure how far they should stick out. As scene in the pics the outside edge of the tires and sliders are pretty much even.
Debating whether or not they need to be moved in or not, let me know what you think.

Thanks in advance for your opinions and advice.

Looks good to me. I have bamf ones and they look to be about the look of mine. I love to count the knicks of paint where people hit the damn things with the doors. I call them door fucker uppers.

I have my sliders flush with the tires and mine stick out a bit
IMO id rather have too much slider out than too little

When I got some TG sliders (pre-welded), I thought they stuck out way too far (out past the tires) .
I had the shop, that attached them, shorten all the supports. Cost me a lot more to get them the way I wanted.

Do whatever makes you comfortable and suits your style of wheeling.

Same sliders, I notched the little pinch welds where the sliders hit under the door to bring them up about another inch. Here's a pic image.jpg

I had them do the same 'notching' for that extra bit of clearance. Mine does not have kickouts, though.

Ditto! I had them notch out the pinch welds above my TG sliders but I bought the bolt on one's and had them welded on for since the gussets were already there and I didn't have to by all the legs that don't come with the TG weld on sliders. Plus I didn't want 24 holes drilled into my frame.

Thanks guys for you opinions, going to leave them how they are. Now to cut the pinch weld if it ever stops raining.
