Merry Xmas guys. I just installed my 4x innovations rock sliders and everything was looking good. After all the welds cooled I noticed the rear door only has about an 1/8 of an in gap when open. I’m wondering if I should worry about or if they’ll be fine?

Well fair chance it could catch sometime under certain off camber circumstances. Is it that tight all the way along when opening?
You could jack up or ramp one front wheel at a time to full travel and check the clearance. If it does catch not sure what you could do about it other than not open that door under those conditions.

The frame and cab body connect via rubber body mount bushings, so there it’s flex by design. Good pictures here.

Thanks for the response. I’m not too concerned about opening the door when I’m off camber but I guess my main concern would be slamming a rock and not being able to open the door on flat ground.

I've been running the 4xinnovations wiy sliders for very nearly 2 years now, smacked em, dropped on em, all that good stuff. The clearance is definitely tight and I had the same concern but it hasn't been an issue at all
