Trying to figure out the order of additions to the truck.

I have wheels and tires already, but not sure which direction to go next for this area. I haven't done much exploring here since I moved back.

I do weekend drives out to wherever with light-ish offloading on whatever road I'm on. I do plan to meet up and go on trail rides with some people eventually and also do a little more adventuring.

I've been up FS70 and some side roads up there, along with cle elum, and some places off I90 near north bend.

What do you guys think would better to go with first?

Eventually I do plan on getting a bed rack with a RTT, but probably not for a little bit.

    Thanks for any input

I do more fs road type exploring and haven't had to put my sliders to the test yet. Skid has seen some use and I've definitely banged my hitch a few times, even with a lift. I think its all important, including recovery gear. My money first would be suspension.

Also. I've added about 120lbs in front and 300lbs in the rear and want to redo my suspension now. Spend the $ on a good setup

I have some recovery gear. A snatch strap, and couple of maxtrax just in case.

I have scraped my skid before, so maybe I should go with the lift next.

I'm not quite sure what all else I would need, so I'm open to input. I have a compressor for airing back up as well

I have 2 straps, a tree strap, snatch blocks, shovel, hi-lift, traction boards, winch, compressor, chainsaw. Snatch strap only works if you have somebody to do the pulling and somewhere to attach to. I'll also have water and food just in case shtf

Skids and sliders first you’ll hit both even with a lift

Sliders first, real slider not steps. Rocker panel damage is no joke.

Thanks man. Maybe I'll see you around sometime!

Hopefully he can show some pics to see how much coverage they provide and let me know if they fully extend wheel well to wheel well.

Highly recommend metaltech they have kick ass customer service and they do include some cool swag if you drive down and get them directly. They also offer a kick ass active duty military discount

Thanks for the input with video and pics! I'll probably be going that direction for sliders and head down there in the next few weeks. Thanks again!

Def sliders before lift and as others have mentioned probably skids too.

Metal tech is legit and local so that is win/win.

If I ever pull off my caliraised sliders I will probably go with Metal tech so that the fiancee can have a step to get in the truck.

    Lift!!!

If you're a competent driver sliders and skids are hardly needed. It depends on how you intend to drive it too. I've had more issues with deep mud and snow more than rocks. Also the armor without lift and tires makes it look like you skipped leg day lol

I took my taco to Moab and all sorts of places and I've only "needed" sliders twice but that was due to my reckless driving. Never had skids nor felt I needed them.
