    Hello All,
I am looking for a set of sliders that will not stick out from the body of the truck by more than about an inch. I had the OEM step sides on and it was hard for my girlfriend to get in and out. She has a bad knee. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks for the help,

You can use tue sliders as a step.
But your not going to find sliders that drop down like normal steps.
Are you trying to find sliders that she can use as a step or some that are out of the way enough to not be in the way of entering/exiting the truck?

If you get weld on sliders you can have the installer cut the legs to adjust them as you'd like

Bad knee stepping on tube sliders is a recipe for disaster. If you do go this route cover them with grip tape

They only sell them for sort bed trucks, but it looks like you have a pro so your good to go with them.

The ends on those sliders look like they would get caught on things

Wow, those hug the body pretty close. I thought my Avid offroad sliders didn't stick out far, but they're a good 2 inches more than yours.

The underside of them is similar to boat sliders so they dont get hung up very easy.

I would actually prefer them to stick out a bit more so that they could be used as a step but for people wanting strictly armor they are hard to beat from a profile standpoint.
