I'm getting the entire back window replaced for free by Toyota dealership. :). Anyways I had a sticker placed on the sliding rear window, which prevented the window from opening all the way. You had to be careful to open it. Well my GF didnt know about it and slammed the window closed and it pulled the rubber seal out . I tried jammin the seal back in place but everytime you open or close it, it pulls the seal out of place.

Took it to Toyota for a looksie and they said they dont replace the seal or the sliding window. They will have to replace the entire rear window. Of course I didnt tell them it was caused by user error. I was worried about breaking the factory seal around the back window. Anyone ever have similar issues like this?

I will take pics of before and after. Getting it done possibly tomorrow since parts are in.

    Thanks for listening.

Hey Cappo, I had the same problem on mine when it was new. The first time I opened the window the seal came out. The dealer had a local glass company come in and replace the window. It's been fine since. That was the only issue I have had so far.

okay now mine has come out too. Is it because of a sticker? I have my Tacomaworld.com sticker on the middle glass. Well I've noticed that the rubber has come out. Has anyone been able to fix it themselves? Or is the only option is the dealership?
