    Hello all,

I've searched thoroughly and can't find answers to my specific questions. I'm looking for a slim (12" or less) tool box for my 2001 double cab. So far I have found the UWS slimline and the DeeZee DZ 6160NB 12" Crossover Tool Box. My questions are:

    1. are there any other options that would fit my needs
    2. what is the exact size I need? For the UWS I think the 63" may fit, but I want to be sure before I purchase it.

DeeZee: Amazon says it will fit, but I wanted to be sure:

    UWS Slimline 60"or 63"???

Also, if anyone has a pic of these toolboxes in their truck I would love to see them!

    Thanks for the help

60" my friend. UWS is pricey but they are definitely worth it.

    Yep, you need a 60. Here's my DCab with a 60" UWS lowpro.20151229_123804_resized.jpg 20151229_123843_resized.jpg

Thanks, it's been a great little truck and reliable as hell. Just need to keep the maintenance up to date and she'll run forever.

    I love it!!

Quick question on the tool box, are you able to reach your tie down hooks in the back?

Not with the tool box installed but its only held in place with a couple of J hooks so my son and I can pull the box out to haul big loads in about 5 minutes.

For everyday cargo hauling and securing I installed two sets of the Slide-N-Lock bed rails on the bed and sides, they have adjustable eye rings that are plenty strong to use with bungies or adjustable straps. Each set comes with two rails and four eye rings so I bought two and keep the straps, bungies and rings in the truck box when not needed. They are handy as hell and one of the best mods I've installed over the years.

You can pick them up from Amazon or other offroading / car parts places.
