IMO, this mind set is part of the problem with our country. I don't understand why people feel it's okay to take other peoples money. If a man on the street pulled a gun on you and told you how much of your stuff he was going to take it would be a crime. If the governement does it, in the liberal view, it's "paying your fair share". Why is it assumed that taking more money is the answer?

Understanding we have to have money to maintain our country I'm not against tax but, I would argue a flat tax with zero deductions is the only fair method.

This is where you and others would competely eat your words if I spoke up. If only some of you knew how your money was being spent as the product you just purchased won't arrive for quite some time. Hey who knows if you'll ever even get it????

Its cool though man, I get it.

Most disagree with me and are fine with people taking advantage of others. As a small company owner there's just simply no other way to survive right.

Ever think who is spending 3,000 a month employing you? No? You only make half that on 40 hours and do not consider operational, insurance, legal, tax, attorney, licencing.. No.. You are a victim.

    There’s an interesting question ^

Now let’s just say you as a consumer decide to buy something for your truck and eventually save up and do so. You decide to go with a specific brand based on the research you did and popularity. You make the call and drop the money for it and are excited to get it. Your order is placed and you are given an approximate date on when this item will arrive.

Behind the scenes your hard earned money has been blown on god knows what material possession by the owner of the company. Eventually the arrival date comes and goes and nothing is delivered. You get impatient waiting for your purchase and call to enquire about it. You’re given an excuse and another date it provided. This goes on and on for some time and eventually you get pissed off.

Meanwhile the owner continues to collect more and more money for said item yet still no inventory. That’s right Mr/Mrs owner decides to blow a tremendous amount of money on themselves rather than putting some of this money towards production/inventory. In essence the owners saying I don't give an “F” about you (customers) because personal needs and wants are more important and I can get away with this because I have built a name for myself.

Oh and when the owner does decide to finally fulfill his/her orders if he/she is actually able to, the product you receive is not what it used to be. That’s right unskilled laborers have been hired, cut backs have been made affecting quality (owner used the economy as an excuse for cut backs but is really doing it for personal reward) and slight modifications which affect the integrity of said item have been made but are not apparent or visible to the customer.

    Is this alright with you?

I get the behind the scenes of this. I know whats going on and I’m not talking about general “write offs” of a small company owner. I’m talking someone who has their head shoved so far up their ass they feel entitled to whatever and will step on whomever to get it. I’m talking I’m not sure anything at all is on the up-and-up.

Then no, that is not alright. I think most here felt this thread was complaining about tax write offs and shortcuts. Not Shitty business in general.
