You choose your own destiny. Dont be mad cause I get paid to fight. It's like if I cried about having to run everyday or the sorry ass, sloppy, dry, bland food that I have to eat to stay healthy. I drink but that's it. I wish I could eat hamburgers, pizza etc but like I said, we chose our destiny.

Just to clarify, I always buy from small businesses when feasible. My rock rails were ordered from a small company when I had a beat price from a big vendor but gave those guys my business and they still messed up my order and lied about having them in stock and ot took 11 days to get em vs the 3 that they promised. I also bought my suspension from a small vendor when I had a better price somewhere else and they can vouch for that. I grew up poor as fawk and I hustle every damn day too.

I don't understand someone who says that small business owners are continually messing them over. Perhaps some do but, in my experience, these don't last long. Small business can only compete with large business if it provides good service. Also, as I have said, small businessmen are often taxed to the brink of failure. The state I'm in now ranks pretty high in taxes on small businesses -- add the federal regulations and it's almost like they don't want small business to succeed. Other states seem to support small business -- good for them.

Yeah, I wouldn't have bought from this last vendor had I known but I honestly think it was a big mix up in parts # but the fact that they said thT it would come from compton and not texas was messed cause they played me. Im willing to let that go cause the big vendor was going to ship from TX too. Just to add, this spot has solid reviews online. Oh and my order still Isn't complete, I got chevy nerf bars instead of the removal steps for the rails.

Damn freaking rails are the wrong part too. Wut a bunch of weenies!

It is probably a little late for me to respond but I am new to TW, but I completely agree with the op.

You all seem like every small business owner should take advantage of the ability to use write-off’s because the government is greedy. And since the government is greedy, then we all should be just as selfish. But government aside, greed no matter who it is from impacts all of us.

I am a small business owner and have run a successful business for 7 years. I have my own write-offs but they are fair. Which is what the op is saying and I quote “For example company right-offs, we all know owners do this in moderation, but when its extreme think of the impact this has on the country’s debt.” He isn’t saying that we shouldn’t be able to write off something’s but it should be in moderation. I have known people who have written off plastic surgery…and that is extreme. If every business owner had their own hand so far in the “cookie jar” how can they pay their employees or provide parts for their customers. This in turn affects the country’s debt. If the owner is only looking out for themselves, then people lose their jobs and then those people don’t have money to spend and stimulate the economy and then other businesses are affected and so on and so on and so on. It is a snowball effect.

Put it this way. We all love Tacoma’s that is why we are here. Say Toyota was a small business and Mr. Toyota owned it. Well say Mr. Toyota wanted a yacht, a private jet, a 20 year old model wife, and well good for Mr. Toyota. But say Mr. Toyota couldn’t afford all of those things, so he doubled the price of the Tacoma’s, and then had you pay for the Tacoma’s in advance to shipping you your truck, and then say when and if your Tacoma was delivered it was just a total POS that fell apart. I bet then you would be concerned with Mr. Toyota's lifestyle and write-off’s then. Because he was greedy and wanted to live a certain type of life, he took your hard earned dough and spent it on the things he wanted and left you high and dry.

    GREED SUCKS PERIOD!

    neglect, mostly.
if mr toyota did that, than wouldn't everybody just quit buying tacomas from him and he would run himself out of business because of his greed?

so, who made you buy from "mr toyota" in the first place? you see, in a market economy, at least in one where the referee doesn't pick winners and losers,... the businesses that please customers do well, ...the one's who don't will not, and probably fall out of competition...

Im dropping a nuclear bomb inside this thread! And that stupid small business that I decided to support never got my order right and all they could do in the end was to offer me a refund! Can't you just do an even exchange inatead of tying up my $525? I don't have my cash or product! So yeah, Mr.Toyota was who I just dealt with.
