So not installing UCA will cause premature tire wear.. is that it? I imagine it will reduce gas mileage.

At 2.5" you are on the cusp of needing them or not needing them.

When you lift the truck you change the geometry of the front , lift past a certain point and you can't align the truck without aftermarket UCA's .

As I mentioned before the results of a poor alignment are premature tire wear and wandering at speed .

I noticed my truck as blue and yellow bilstein shocks. Are these the stock shocks?

    08. Didn't know the stock shocks were bilstein. I have been trying to figure this out before asking this but what is the deal with the TSB and the leafs? Did certain years have a recall on the leafs?

The American trucks come with 3 leafs stock .

The Canadian trucks come with the 4 leaf , or TSB leaf pack .

Is one better than the other? Both provide the same lift right?

You can get Toyota to replace your 3 pack with the 4 pack , this is the leaf spring TSB .

The 4th spring will net you another 3/4" of lift over the US stock 3 leaf pack .

People get the tsb leafs, for better towing/hauling capabilties, and also a little lift.

The Tsb (four leafs) are stronger. Some say stiffer ride, others say rides like a truck.

FYI, I know everyone one here is anxiously waiting to see what is do. Thinking about pulling the trigger on the 4 Bilsteins and the 2" AAL. Might just it to 2.5" and see how she rides.

So what you think.. Just get the 2" AAL or have toyota do the TSB and add a 1.5" AAL. Is one really any better than the other?
