Likewise. I'd be happy to help as well if you get around to it. I'll probably wait until spring to buy. Since you're close by...Are you a member of the Mid TN Overland Bound group? We're meeting (drinking ) this Sunday to discuss/plan some 2018 overland trips. here's the info

In the kit description it says "RCD/Bilstein Extended length rear shocks." is that what you're referring to when you say "extended travel?"

I’d go with lift coils of your choice, like OME 885’s with Bilstein 5100s on the zero setting with a progressive AAL. I installed my lift with OME 884s (regular cab) myself in about 10 hours. I’ve had a spacer lift that I had removed that was on the truck I bought and am much happier with my current setup. I grew tired of the limited travel/preload that spacer lifts cause.

Looks great! Did you up tire size as well? Remove mud flaps?
I'm hoping to fit a 285/70/17 once done. I wish i could find some flexible short front mud flaps (about 1/2 the length of the OEM's) to cut down on shit splashing up on my doors/fender flares.

265/70/17 (basically stock) is what i have, i used 1.25" spacers and had to remove the flares and do some minor trimming to plastic parts.

    Great OB meeting yesterday.

@14Tacos4me Did you also buy the needle bearing replacement from ECGS? If so, I'm wondering if you already bought the removal tool and install tool? We could save each other some money seeing as they're $45 each and I'd be happy to buy one (and share with you) if you want to buy the other.

I've heard many people say the cv axle seal from ECGS doesn't fit. Has anyone done this recently who can confirm or deny the fit of this seal?

I missed the OB meeting, ended up doing things with the wife yesterday to give myself today to put my lift on. I did not replace the needle bearing, it’s a $60 part that a lot of people haven’t needed to replace. The way I see it is if I start to have issues I’ll have a cheap first guess as to what needs to be replaced.

I did, it’s all in and feels good so far, drove 80 on the highway with no vibrations at any speeds. I just need to get an alignment now.
