    Somewhere in the Mojave Desert...
    Vehicle:
    2017 Tacoma OR 4x4 (formerly 2002 OR 4x4, 1995 4x4 4Runner, 1985 4x4 Toy PU) ... and RIP’s (rust in pieces) to a Bronco II 4x4 & S10 Blazer 4x4
Since I have a ARE MX shell, I mounted mine forward on top of my DCSB Prinsu Cabrak- used small spacers and bolted it down directly to the aluminum rack crossbars. Its big and has a thick front leading edge that’s good for poorer gas mileage, Im sure. I’m used to it but I’m sure others think it looks like a Beverly Hillbillies’ truck.

Now trying to rig a good way to mount/dismount it for storage in my garage- my garage door is too short to drive it in on the truck and hoist it up into the garage attic.

I'm looking at getting the brackets now. But how will it work with the backflip (f1) covering the rails. I might have to cut holes to allow brackets to attach.

From the pictures I don't think it's possible to flip the cover back and have the rack on at the same time the but I'd email or message @KB Voodoo on Facebook and ask

If anyone knows when a sale on this tent ⛺️ will be happening, please let me know.

I’m ready to pull the trigger...a discount sure would be welcomed.

I love my Smittybilt RTT. It has been a great tent. Comfortable, cozy, thick fabric, and easy to set up. I also have the Smittybilt 6 ft awning attached to the trailer, just didn' set it up this last weekend while out camping.

Would one of you owners please post the measurement from the mounting rail to the very top of the tent?

I'm building the bed rails to hold the tent and I don't want the tent to be above the roof line.

    Thanks
