Comifornia is definitely not for me. I almost got out of the truck and kissed the ground when I crossed back into Texas.

It was fun for sure, but I'll hit up Moab if I want to take another long trip.

Here are the pics I ended up with.

Hammertown before it filled up. The amount of dust in the air on race day was to the point that you couldn't see the mountains in the background from this spot.







Sledge and Jack Hammer are tucked into the canyon beyond the orange fencing.



Playing around on the rocks to see what was going to hit if anything. I ended up cutting a few bits off that were making contact. Nothing major though.



I think one of the shots from this angle may end up being the official Smokey patch.

I'm lacking the cage, seats, and harness install at this point. As soon as that is done I'm going to bring her back to my place so I'm not taking up space in Alex's shop. If PRP will ship me my seats I'll be good to go.

Meh, she's kind of dirty right now.

The Tundra master and booster aren’t quite cutting it. The truck will stop, but the pedal is very low. I’ll post the math here later, but I figured out that I need a larger bore master to bring the pedal up.

There are several companies that make adapters for the early trucks, but nothing for our trucks. Well, I’m going to fix that. The adapter, after a little machining will be ready to bolt up. I’ll be making a plunger adapter as well.

So after this is all said and done I should have a kit to add the Tundra booster and gm one ton master to your taco.

This isn’t needed unless you’re swapping in tons, but I can see that trend picking up.

 

I like this. Been trying to figure it out myself. I only have a one ton rear at the moment and my pedal sucks.
