Passenger side. Now that I have my lowers in I'm going to push the axle as far up as possible and knock out the upper.

So who can tell me what this bracket is on the oil pan? It's not the PS pump as that sits up higher. It doesn't look like it's ever had a bolt in it, but I've taken a bunch of crap off so I'm not sure.

Real links this time! :D The PVC was to make sure my lengths where right before cutting up this high dollar DOM.

Looking great man. With the axle pushed forward like that it will make for some nice approach angles

Keeping the flatbed or going a different route? Don't think I ever asked you this...

I think it's high time I added these into the mix. Who's got a guess as to what they are?

    Photo Nov 04, 6 34 08 PM.jpg

So it turns out the hutcheson's don't have a large enough center bore to fit over the hubs on the 60. I just figured that since they where 8 lug they'd fit, guess I was wrong. So step in wheeladapter.com. They machined me a set of 2" spacers for both the 14 bolt and the 60. The spacers in the rear will hopefully keep me from having to notch the frame. We'll see. The spacers are machined to be both hub and wheel centric and are machined from Timken bearing steel. They should do the job.

    Photo Nov 05, 1 02 15 PM.jpg

Now it's time to get the steering rolling. I had to make my own standoffs for the clamps on the Howe ram, that was fun.

The panhard placement is going to be a fun puzzle to sort out.

I would ask what is happening here... but I starting to think that you may not even know what is happening here at times.

    I built my tierods today.

    Photo Nov 06, 4 41 20 PM.jpg

    Photo Nov 06, 4 42 43 PM.jpg

The panhard is going to be a bear to fit in place. The passenger side frame will have to be notched for starters.

    Photo Nov 06, 5 08 41 PM.jpg

    Photo Nov 06, 5 08 47 PM.jpg

I put my spacers on and mounted the wheels and tires so I could cycle the steering. I needed to make sure that the tierods would clear the panhard mounts. She's going to be tight.

Oh, and Smokey is seriously wide. lol

I’ve seen a lot of people remake a smaller version of the front part of the frame to help clear everything.
