I will admit to being a bit worried when I pulled up and saw nothing but trailered buggies, but there's plenty for all to play on. Well, if you have full armor, 33's, lockers, and a winch that is. :D The park was a lot of fun though. Definitely one to hit up again.

I want to plop down the money for a crawl box right now as I ran out of gear/power in several spots. This whole paying off debts thing is getting in the way though. Being responsible sucks sometimes. :D

You can come out on the trails and get your spotting merit badge. :D

    Definitely a must at Trees.

Drinking is prohibited on the trails at Trees. They'll escort you off the property if caught.

    More gear is definitely needed.

Heck no. That place has lots of trails that don't need a winch or locker. We chose to do some higher rated trails, but we missed out on a lot of easier rated trails that would have been just as fun.

Well, I managed to put a very small tear in my passenger side CV boot at Trees last weekend. It's amazing how such a little tear allowed all of the grease to puke out of the boot. In order to wheel at FJ Fallout next weekend I had to get it swapped out today.

First order of business was to pull my skids, which haven't been off the truck for quite a while. The rear bolts in my All Pro IFS skid had pulled through the mounts, so I didn't have to take those out. :D My mid skid was my first welding project and I used black pipe and not tube. Well, I won't do that again. The skid did it's job, but had deformed so badly that It wouldn't come off the truck. I even tried using my stock jack to push it off, no dice. I ended up cutting one of the rear supports. That did the trick. Guess it's time to build a new one.

So it looks like I had a little contamination in the diff, so I'll run this fluid change for a bit and then change it again.

Everythings back together, except for the skids. I'll just take it easy this weekend.

Why did you take off your mid/xfer case skid?

It bolted to the back of the IFS skid, so it had to come off. Can't drain the diff or pull the axle with the IFS skid on.

I make it through Trees Ranch with only a torn CV boot and end up doing this at Hidden Falls, go figure.

Well, I was at least attempting a difficult line on the trail. :D Just slipped off the right line onto the wrong one.

Here's what the gas tank looks like now. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1442856557.449944.jpg
