If you aren't burning oil...and you aren't having an other performance issues....and it only happens on start up...and there are a bunch fo posts here saying it's normal....I wouldn't worry.

If you are REALLY worried-Take it to a dealer, explain the problem to them and let them look at it.

    white smoke = water.

A good running engine produces extra H20 = water. It is a sign that your engine is running efficient, and nothing else.

Well, would water vapor evaporate very fast.. this hangs in the air. So I think its smoke, not water vapor.

if it humid/muggy outside it could! as the air is denser. Let your truck break in man. It can take up to 2500 miles for everything to fully seat. Have ya taken a wiff of it? Does it smell sweet? Smell like burnt oil? or just smell of exhaust. If it smell of exhaust. then thats what it is! Calm down take a deep breath.

White vapor is normal on a cold engine as long as it disapates rapidly into the air. If the vapor seems to hang on like a smoke screen and there is also a sweet smell associated with it, then there might be some head gasket issues.

It really shouldn't smoke at all. Steam is perfectly normal, I would break it in, and then worry about it, if it is smoke. As far as monitoring oil consumption, oil gets contaminated, and the burnt oil is often replaced with contaminants, so if you don't do a lot of longer trips, or highway driving, this method of finding a (oil consumption) problem doesn't necessarily work. It is highly unlikely there is a problem, Good Luck though.
