has anyone smoked or seen smoked 2009 taillights? If so please post pics! I just painted my bumper with bedliner (not completely finished yet) but realized that the white in the middle kinda throws it off so I wanna see how they look thanks!

I smoked mine with VHT niteshades. It was my first try and I think I could do better now, but it looks ok from a distance. Done correctly it, works out just fine. In addition to my bush league attempt to smoke my tails, I suck at photography, keep that in mind too.

Here are some pics of the tails (1) with lights off, (2) with lights on, and (3) with brake engaged:

Of course, they don't look that dark when they're not in the shade, but I didn't think of that when taking the pictures...

Hahahaha that is all good I appreciate it thanks it helped me make my decision. I'm not a big fan of the white that it has and it threw off the look of my truck so I was wondering about this since it might look better. Thanks again!

Thanks for the pictures I caught a glimpse of yours earlier but these ones definitely help me more! It's decided I'm gonna do it! Do you know if it's illegal or anything? I read somewhere that it was or something like that hahaha.

as long as they are just smoked and not blacked out, u'll be fine. they have to have a red hue to them when lit.
