Yup yup. No issues. Pretty sure 45 degree incline starved the engine of oil so it smoked. But I quickly backed it down and let it idle for like 5 minutes and it was fine after.

Cause it's fun. Anyway he's got sliders, he's not hurting that truck at all on those trails.

Speaking of...apparently I need to go to Alabama, that looks like a blast.

I know exactly what happened. You began smoking at the exact angle of bradwhitenikki's driveway. I can photoshop some bricks in there to prove it.

I didn't buy a TRD Off-Road for it to be a mall crawler. I bought it to do what it was designed to do but that being said I'm also not acting like a fool with it either, I'm very careful as to not damage it or go on trails that are beyond my level of comfort.

I don't recall this feature in the crawl control marketing videos.

Originally not Expo AF! Kinda Expo AF now...lame.
For those saying they never had an auto stall, it's some electronics in newers Toyotas. I was coming out of a really steep incline going to a main road (was under an overpass). It was paved, it's just really steep, maybe 35 degrees. I wasn't really going very fast and when I let off the gas it rolled back on it while in Drive. The car auto-braked and it kept rolling back while I was starting to hit the brakes. I finally hit the brakes, but by then I went maybe 10 ft backwards, and the engine shut off.

I cranked it up, no warning lights, or anything, and gave it some gas and got up the incline.

    That was on a 2016 4Runner.

I remember seeing a video on Instagram of a guy's 3rd gen doing the same. If I remember correctly he had spoke with Toyota and they mentioned something about oil getting somewhere due to the steep angle, and burning off. They said it was nothing to worry about(classic Toyota) If I can remember who it is I'll try get more information

    This would be helpful!

The weird thing is another 3rd gen went up this same hill before I did and he did not smoke at all.
